Mission Accomplished!
After much thought we have decided that this will be the last season for the Bookshop.
After an extraordinary 17 years when achievements have far exceeded our expectations, it is now time for the Bookshop to close, having achieved donations of £200,000 to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and over £100,000 in grants to local voluntary causes. Mission accomplished.
We are indebted to the people of Watchet and the surrounding areas who have generously donated books and also been our valued customers. Thank you so much for all your support. We couldn’t have done it without you.
We will still be able to take donations until the end of July and the shop will close at the end of September. Until then it is business as usual.

We are a charity bookshop located on The Esplanade at the beautiful Watchet Marina.
Our proceeds are shared between the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and local good causes.

We are situated behind the statue of Yankee Jack on Watchet Esplanade.

BOOKS
We have a wide selection of books including fiction, non-fiction and children’s books.
All books are in good condition and stock is always changing.
GRANTS
In 2023 the Bookshop was able to give £15 000 to the CF Trust and we gave grants to local voluntary organisations that totalled £5 600. We sold 16,000 books through the shop but also sold books on e-bay and at auction.
